My name is Avidan Moges. I was born and raised in Ethiopia, and at 18 years old I packed two suitcases and moved to Canada completely alone. No family. No connections. No safety net.
Within months I found myself homeless for seven months, living in a shelter, trying to figure out how to survive in a country I barely knew.
But one thing I had was my phone.
I started creating content. Learning about social media. Studying how technology was changing the way businesses grow. And then something happened that changed everything — I got my first client. Not through connections. Not through money. Through the content I was making from inside that shelter.
